The Tech and IT Manager is responsible for leading technology teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable software, systems, and infrastructure solutions. This role focuses on the operational execution of technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, project requirements, and organizational standards.

The Tech and IT Manager combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership to drive project delivery, maintain system integrity, and enable business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, cost-effective technical architectures and implementation approaches to enable client-facing solutions and business growth.
  • Manage project execution and product lifecycle by prioritizing work, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring delivery of business value on time and within budget.
  • Execute high-quality software and systems development through disciplined planning, agile practices, and predictable release management.
  • Enable rapid and reliable delivery through CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure as code, and developer enablement tooling.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines, platforms, and reporting capabilities to enable reliable insights and informed decision-making.
  • Establish testing frameworks, automation coverage, and release quality standards to ensure reliability, stability, and customer trust.
Leadership & Organizational Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop technical teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and support career development within the technology organization.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technology delivery with business needs.
  • Manage resource allocation, timelines, and priorities to optimize team productivity and project outcomes.
  • Support adoption of new technologies, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and delivery quality.

IT-Related Responsibilities:

  • Adhering to Project Management discipline and standards, should be able to provide Input and insight for improvement as necessary.
  • Coordinating and leading Business Analysis Compliance Checking, obtaining Software Requirement Specification and Customer Acceptance sign offs.
  • Effective communicator and problem solver.
  • Able to work with different levels of stakeholders and maintain a good relationship.
  • Is Excellent project management and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within budget.
  • Has Effective negotiation skills and resource management.
  • Has Planning and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Has Excellent communication skills with experience in presenting thoughts, ideas, and data
  • Has Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems and/or other related courses.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience as Project Manager/coordinator or a proven track record in a similar position, working with a team in a similar or adjacent industry.
  • Proven experience managing software engineering or technology teams in a medium-to-large organization or growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering, architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and data analytics.
  • Understanding of security, compliance, and operational governance practices.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technology plans and deliverables.
  • Experience implementing agile delivery practices, testing frameworks, and operational standards.
