A Warehouse Incharge manages daily warehouse operations, oversees inventory, ensures safety compliance, and leads the warehouse team to optimize storage and distribution efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee daily activities including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, ensuring smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate stock records, conduct regular physical audits, reconcile discrepancies, and monitor stock levels to trigger reorders for critical items.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure operational efficiency.Safety and Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols, maintain cleanliness, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Warehouse Optimization: Organize warehouse layout, implement best practices like 5S, and optimize space utilization for efficiency.
Qualifications/Requirements
Required Skills and QualificationsEducational Background: College Grduate.
Experience: Prior experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or supervisory roles is highly valued.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management software, and basic computer skills.
Leadership and Communication: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and team management abilities; effective communication with staff and other departments.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, moving, and organizing merchandise.
