Training Superintendent (Deck)- Maritime Industry

Ensure compliance with all training manual requirements and company standards.
- Review, develop, and deliver maritime training programs aligned with regulatory, client, and company requirements.
- Identify training needs proactively and implement cost-effective learning solutions.
- Manage training activities within approved budgets.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of training programs.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and participant satisfaction, implementing corrective actions where needed.
- Monitor industry developments and recommend solutions to emerging maritime challenges.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Management System.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, training providers, and external partners.
- Escalate training planning issues and operational concerns to management when required.
- Support additional training and development initiatives as directed by senior leadership.

Essential Qualifications- Class I Deck Certificate of Competency (CoC) holder.
- Master Mariner Certificate of Competency.
- Training of Trainers & Assessors (TOTA) and/or Vertical Integration Course for Trainers (VICT) certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maritime training or a similar role.
- Previous seagoing experience as a Master Mariner.
- Experience delivering training to seafarers.
- Budget management experience.
- People leadership and team management experience.
