Receive, arrange, safeguard, and transmit mail and letters to the proper personnel for the firm.
- Organize all clients' files and folders. Keep inventories of all legal documents
- Answer calls and queries from clients.
- Schedule appointments with lawyers.
- Draft letters, type pleadings, and others, as assigned by the lawyer.
- File and email necessary pleadings and letters, as required by the lawyer.
- Attend meetings and hearings, as assigned by the lawyer.
- Coordinate with government agencies in filing, processing, and claiming documents.
- Assist lawyers and other personnel from legal, corporate, and other departments in clerical work and other projects or tasks assigned.
- Act as a reliever in the absence of the petty cash custodian.
- Ensure liaison officers complete assigned tasks efficiently and on time.
- Maintain the Notarial Register of the lawyers in the firm.
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the office.
- Purchase supplies and materials as required by the lawyer.
- Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
