Accounting Clerk

Job Summary:

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the accounting team by maintaining accurate financial records, processing data entries, and supporting payroll and timekeeping functions. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong attention to detail and a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and update financial data in spreadsheets and accounting software.
  • Organize and maintain accurate financial documents and records.
  • Collect and verify employee attendance, overtime, and leave records.
  • Prepare timekeeping summaries for payroll processing.
  • Assist in computing and reporting statutory contributions (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Assist in preparing documents for audits and compliance reports.
  • Perform general administrative and clerical tasks to support the accounting team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • The position is open to Senior High School and College graduates, as well as candidates with up to 1–2 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
  • Strong numerical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
