CCTV Technician
About the role
Worksystems Inc. is seeking a skilled and dedicated CCTV Technician to join our team in Imus City, Cavite. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and supporting video surveillance infrastructure of our clients. As a CCTV Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of closed-circuit television systems of our clients.This position is vital to ensuring the integrity and reliability of the surveillance systems of our various clients all over the country.
Key responsibilities- Install, configure, and test CCTV cameras, recorders, monitors, and associated equipment at client sites and facilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of surveillance systems to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults in CCTV systems, including hardware and software-related problems
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations in detailed technical reports
- Collaborate with other personnel and engineering to integrate CCTV systems with broader security infrastructure
- Provide technical guidance and training to end-users on proper system operation and basic troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and security protocols during all installations and maintenance work
- Other assigned tasks
- Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or in a similar surveillance systems role
- Strong technical knowledge of CCTV systems, including analogue, digital, and IP-based camera technologies
- Proficiency in installing and configuring various camera types, DVRs, NVRs, and monitoring software
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and experience with network configuration for IP surveillance systems
- Competence in using diagnostic tools and equipment to test and troubleshoot system components
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in identifying and resolving technical issues
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different job sites as required
- Physical fit.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Relevant certifications in CCTV installation or security systems are preferred
- Must be integrity-driven.
