The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing the organization's marketing activities and campaigns specific to those customers with physical stores/ point of sale outlets, including SOMI satellites and hubs. The Store Specialist is also in charge of maintaining positive relationships store partners and provide them with necessary support to achieve the best possible results.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading and mentoring team members to achieve departmental objectives. Routinely check in with members of the team (via ONO Session or Coaching) to learn about the challenges they are encountering with various projects and to determine what support they need to get their intended outcome.
  • Initiate and preside over a team meeting on a weekly basis to monitor the progress of each assignment, as well as to engage in open conversation or brainstorming regarding upcoming activities and marketing initiatives.
  • Communicates and shares updates with the entire marketing team to align strategies and ensure that regional marketing efforts are consistent with the overall nationwide marketing goals.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that support the company's overall business objectives
  • Collaborate with sales heads to measure and report on the performance and effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with DIY partners and dealers
  • Review and approve proposals to hasten the removal of all products having a shelf life, especially those that are approaching their expiration. Double checking the monitoring of all such products.
  • Visits on a regular basis to clients across all industries as well as DIY partners and dealers in order to determine what kinds of marketing assistance are required to attain the goals that have been set and to gather insights and feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

✔ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field

Experience:

✔ 5-7 years in retail marketing, trade marketing, or channel management
✔ At least 2-3 years in managerial role
✔ Background in hardware, DIY retail, or construction products is a PLUS

✔ Proven track record in managing retail partnerships and campaigns
