Job Title: Junior Finance Manager

Job Summary:

Tres Filipino Twist is looking for a highly organized and analytical Junior Finance Manager with strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and a solid background in finance and accounting. The role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing insightful reports, and providing data-driven recommendations to support the company’s strategic decisions.

The successful candidate will directly report to the Managing Consultant and help ensure the financial integrity of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Recording & Management
  • Accurately record and reconcile daily sales, expenses, and operational transactions in QuickBooks.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely settlement and collections.
  • Maintain and update financial ledgers, bank records, and petty cash.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (e.g., income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Analyze financial trends, variances, and operational KPIs to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Present key financial insights and findings to the Managing Consultant to support business strategy.
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Assist in developing and monitoring annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Track budget performance and recommend adjustments based on financial analysis.
  • Support planning for new projects, promotions, and expansion.
Internal Controls & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to internal accounting procedures and BIR compliance.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants when necessary.
  • Proactively identify and correct discrepancies in financial records.
Process Improvement
  • Recommend and implement improvements in financial systems, reporting, and controls.
  • Collaborate with operations, HR, and procurement teams to optimize cost controls and workflows.
Other Duties
  • Perform other related tasks or responsibilities that may be assigned by the Managing Consultant or management, as necessary to support the business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions).
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, reporting standards, and cost accounting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Preferred:

  • Background in the F&B or hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Philippine tax laws and BIR compliance procedures.
