Accounting Officer (Construction Company)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting the company’s financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee general ledger activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing processes.
Check monthly payroll, financial reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
Monitor and enforce compliance with BIR Tax requirements and Government Mandated Benefits (GMB’s)
Coordinate audits and prepare necessary documentation for internal and external auditors.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial procedures and reporting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related courses.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Experience in a construction company is a plus.
