Job Summary

The Test Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and functionality of software applications through effective test planning, test design, and execution. The role involves understanding business and technical requirements, creating and maintaining test cases, executing tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with project teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality solutions.

• Analyze business and system requirements to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute functional, integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
• Review test cases prepared by junior team members and provide guidance when needed.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, test evidence, and status reports.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
• Define and manage test data required for test execution.
• Contribute to test strategies, quality assurance initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
• Prioritize testing activities to support timely project and release delivery.
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline.
• Experience in testing enterprise applications, banking systems, digital platforms, or related business applications is an advantage.

• ISTQB Certified Agile Tester
• ISTQB Test Analyst (Advanced Level)
• Other relevant software testing certifications are an advantage

• Test Case Design and Execution
• Defect Management and Tracking
• Test Documentation and Reporting
• Functional, Integration, and End-to-End Testing
• Test Data Preparation and Management
• Agile Testing Practices
• API Testing (preferred)
• Basic Test Automation Knowledge (preferred)
• Experience with testing tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence, HP ALM, Postman, or similar platforms
