Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversees the daily operation of the warehouse which includes but not limited to inventory management, stock preparation, and deliveries.
- Ensures the timely and efficient delivery of Company products by considering the most cost-effective mode of shipment/transportation.
- Ensures the proper and correct implementation and use of Warehouse Management System.
- Handles day-to-day concerns of warehouse - operational issues, employee conflicts and concerns.
- Ensures the integrity of inventories/stocks by placing security measures to mitigate pilferage and theft.
- In partnership with Human Resources Department, implements necessary initiatives to ensure compliance to Occupational Health and Safety Standards.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure systematic and smooth flow of inventories/stock.
- Reviews, revises and implements system improvements focusing on efficient and effective warehousing policies and procedures.
- Ensures that warehouse personnel are trained, effective and contributing to the attainment of the unit’s goal by identifying their needs and the necessary training to address the needs.
- Regularly inspect warehouse equipment, tools, machineries, and vehicles and oversees maintenance as needed.
- Graduate of any four-year business-related course.
- With at least 5 years of solid experience in warehousing (retail industry)
- Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain is an advantage
- Proficient knowledge inventory and inventory controls and deep understanding of warehouse management procedures.
- Experience in the use of Warehouse Management System e.g. Netsuit is an advantage.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a people person, a problem solver, and with high regard to honesty and integrity.
