PURCHASING ASSISTANT
Key Responsibility:
- Process purchase requests and purchase orders.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
- Compare prices, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of items.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
- Coordinate with accounting for invoice and payment processing.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain good supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
