PURCHASING ASSISTANT

Key Responsibility:

  • Process purchase requests and purchase orders.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
  • Compare prices, quality, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery of items.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
  • Coordinate with accounting for invoice and payment processing.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain good supplier relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
