About the Job

Key Duties:

Develop and implement new features and analytics for core applications.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance issues.

Design scalable, maintainable, and user-centered software solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in daily standups, planning sessions, and retrospectives.

Continuously improve code quality and team development processes.

Qualifications:

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in web-based programming languages (e.g., Ruby, PHP, Python).

At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails.

Proficient in working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Experience writing unit and integration tests.

Familiarity with Git for version control in collaborative development environments.

Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular (nice to have).

Proficiency in RESTful API design and integration (nice to have).

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or containerization tools like Docker (nice to have).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Comfortable working in an Agile development environment with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
