Job Description
As a React Native Mobile Application Developer, you'll enhance, modernize, and deploy a mission-critical mobile app, collaborate across teams, and improve app performance while working with legacy and modern systems.
Job Overview
Employment Type: Full-time, 1-year contract/project-based role with strong potential for renewal or transition to a regular position.
Shift: Night Shift, Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM PH time
Work Setup: Permanent Work From Home, with company-provided work device

The Qualifications We Seek
Must-Have Qualifications- 3+ years of experience developing mobile applications using React Native
- Proven experience deploying apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Console
- Ability to maintain legacy code and support modernization efforts
- Experience implementing and maintaining JavaScript testing frameworks (e.g., Jest)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment
- Experience using Expo and EAS build tools (highly preferred, but not required)
- Strong understanding of and experience integrating GraphQL APIs (highly preferred)
- Background in enterprise SaaS or HR technology (a plus)
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams (design, product, backend engineering)
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and ActiveRecord (a plus), with exposure to backend systems and APIs
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our React Native mobile application using Expo
- Integrate with a GraphQL API backed by a Ruby on Rails platform
- Manage and execute mobile app builds and deployment for both Apple App Store and Google Play Console
- Refactor and improve legacy mobile code with a focus on performance, stability, and scalability
- Introduce and expand test coverage using Jest
- Collaborate with backend developers using ActiveRecord and Rails
- Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and process improvements
