Airconditioning technician

Job Description

1. Install, maintain, and repair various types of air conditioning systems (e.g., split type, window type, inverter, precision cooling for nodes).
2. Conduct regular inspection and preventive maintenance of AC units in offices and node facilities.
3. Monitor temperature levels in network nodes to prevent equipment overheating.
4. Clean condenser and evaporator coils, change filters, and recharge refrigerants when needed.
5. Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults related to HVAC systems.
6. Respond to service requests and emergency repairs in a timely manner.
7. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports, and repair records.
8. Recommend replacements or upgrades if units are inefficient or beyond repair.
9. Ensure all works comply with safety and electrical standards.
10. Coordinate with contractors or suppliers for outsourced maintenance or parts replacement.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:

• At least High School graduate; with TESDA NC II or vocational course in Electrical and Air Conditioning.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in aircon installation and maintenance and electrical.
• Knowledgeable in basic electrical systems and refrigerant handling.
• Physically fit, able to lift and install heavy units.
• Willing to travel to different site locations (offices, nodes, branches).
• With valid driver's license is an advantage.
• Can work independently and with minimal supervision.
