Qualifications:

Educational Background:  Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a closely

related technical field.

Professional Experience:  Extensive hands-on experience in shipbuilding, drydocking, and vessel

repairs.
 Responsible for managing daily operations in the shipyard, ensuring that all
ship construction, repair and maintenance projects are completed safely, on
time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

 Proven background in managing shipyard teams, overseeing construction, maintenance, and repair activities.

 Project Management, Operations oversight, Personnel Management, Safety

and Compliance, Quality Control and Client and Stakeholder coordination.

Technical Competencies:  Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and

structural plans.
 Strong command of Tarifa (rate tables), BOQ (Bill of Quantities), MOQ
(Minimum Order Quantity), and all ship-related cost estimations and

computations.

 Understanding of material specifications, production timelines, and budget
control.

 Familiarity with project management software and shipyard documentation.

Leadership & Management:  Strong leadership, delegation, and problem-solving skills with experience in

supervising large, multi-disciplinary teams.

 Effective project management skills include scheduling, budgeting, resource

planning, and reporting.
