Job Description

The People and Culture Superintendent role serves as the second-in-command to the Manager- People & Culture function supporting the delivery of HR programs in alignment with the strategic direction of a publicly listed company.

It plays a critical role in providing specialist advice on core HR functions such as talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee and industrial relations, employee learning & development that contribute to talent readiness and operational success ensuring alignment with governance standards and regulatory frameworks.

  • The day-to-day supervision of HR service delivery and systems at the site level, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and responsiveness to workforce needs by providing specialized advice and support on HR operational needs and talent learning & development.
  • Designs and leads organization-wide workforce planning strategies that support long-term business goals and growth.
  • Evaluates and improves workforce planning processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Influences strategic decision-making through insights derived from workforce planning and analysis
  • Manage advanced employee grievances, maintaining industrial harmony, and supporting management in union engagement and collective bargaining processes
  • Help in developing and translating change strategies into operational actions, ensuring employee readiness, minimizing resistance, and maintaining business continuity during transitions.
  • Provides ongoing support for organizational health by promoting communication, adaptability, leadership alignment, and employee engagement throughout the change process.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or any related field
  • 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources roles
  • 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role or management position
  • Proven experience in managing key HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training and development.
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and programs aligned with business strategies.
  • Strong understanding of local employment laws and regulations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices, employee engagement strategies, talent management and organizational development
  • Familiarity with HRIS(Human Resource Information System) and HR technologies
  • Understanding of compensation, benefits, and performance appraisal system
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions based on HR data, trends, and organizational needs.
  • Strong experience in aligning HR initiatives with overall business objectives and drive organizational change.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong capability in building strong relationships with employees and foster a positive organizational culture.
  • You must be based in Makati, and it is a requirement of this role that you are based in the Makati office and have the ability to travel to the site on a regular basis.
