• Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a construction site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.
• Manage and coordinate workers, subcontractors, and other personnel, acting as the primary point of contact on-site and involves a range of tasks, from planning and scheduling to managing resources and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Plan and organize work to ensure efficient completion of tasks, assign duties appropriately, and monitor progress; report on team performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide updates to senior management.
• Correspond with consultants and Project Manager regarding all contract discrepancies or adjustments as required, ensuring any specialty materials are ordered in advance in order to meet deadlines.
• Oversee construction projects and supervise the construction team.
• Responsible for ordering building supplies, scheduling equipment maintenance as needed, and training new construction employees, as well as the supervision of the approved projects including modification, construction, testing and commissioning.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:

• Male; a senior High School diploma with completed course in Electrical Engineering is acceptable
• With related work experience in a power plant of similar role is an advantage but not required.
• Can speak English and fluent in Mandarin with excellent written and strong oral communication skills.
• Can read and write Chinese characters
• Proven competency in reading, understanding, interpreting blue prints from China
• Thorough understanding of construction processes, design principles, and relevant regulations is crucial.
• Practical experience in leadership, team management, and related areas.
• Problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and work in a fast-paced environment.
