Work Schedule: 5-day work week
An Engineering Supervisor, you will lead the Costing, Design, and Quality Control functions; and spearheads cost optimization and maximizing value across projects and processes.
Other responsibilities include the following:
- Effectively manages individuals and teams to optimize productivity and engagement, including work planning, performance management, development and coaching, and team culture management.
- Develops standards, procedures, tools, and methodologies to produce cost estimates for technical projects based on work scope, specifications, and proposal or contract requirements.
- Supports continuous improvement through cost engineering techniques and processes, identifying inefficiencies to develop value-engineered products.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the timely completion and delivery of Engineered to Order (ETO) projects, mitigates risks, and advises on possible delays before adjustment of target completion.
- Oversees the inspection of all ETO products to ensure adherence to quality standards and customer requirements before delivery.
To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:
- Engineering degree (preferably EE/ME)
- A PRC License (EE/ME) is a plus
- At least 5 years of experience in switchgear manufacturing, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational skills
- Familiar with the Philippine Electrical Code.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other cost management software
