Role Description
The Design and Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and overall management of company facilities across all brands and locations. The role ensures that all branches maintain operational efficiency, brand consistency, safety compliance, and an excellent customer experience through effective design implementation and facilities management.
Responsibilities- Oversees branch design, fit-out, renovation, and construction projects from planning to completion
- Ensures all branches comply with company design standards, operational requirements, and brand identity
- Manages preventive maintenance programs and repairs for facilities, equipment, and branch assets
- Coordinates with contractors, suppliers, landlords, and internal teams regarding construction, maintenance, and facilities concerns
- Conducts regular site inspections to assess branch conditions, compliance, and operational readiness
- Prepares cost estimates, monitors project budgets, and ensures efficient resource utilization
- Reviews layouts, plans, and technical drawings to optimize functionality, safety, and customer experience
- Ensures compliance with government regulations, safety standards, and permit requirements
- Supports branch openings, relocations, renovations, and special projects as needed
- Tracks, analyzes, and reports facilities and project performance to identify improvements and efficiencies
- A holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or equivalent
- With 3–5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, construction, design, project management, or related fields
- Strong knowledge of space planning, construction processes, maintenance operations, and project management
- Proficient in design and project management tools is an advantage
- Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
