Facilities Manager | Makati
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Sodexo On-Site Services Philippines, Inc. in Makati or Taguig. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and maintenance of our client's property and facilities, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and efficient working environment for all occupants.
What you'll be doing
Facilities & Engineering Operations- Oversee daily operations and maintenance of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection systems
- Ensure all facilities and equipment are operating efficiently and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and operational disruptions
- Coordinate with contractors, service providers, and suppliers for technical services and project requirements
- Monitor utilities consumption and identify cost-saving and energy-efficiency initiatives
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety, environmental, and company standards
- Manage housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and overall presentation of the property or facility
- Develop and implement housekeeping standards, schedules, and quality control procedures
- Conduct regular inspections of common areas, offices, restrooms, and other facility spaces
- Ensure timely resolution of housekeeping-related concerns and service requests
- Supervise housekeeping personnel and third-party service providers to maintain service excellence
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Lead, coach, and develop engineering and housekeeping teams to achieve operational objectives
- Prepare operational reports, budgets, and performance updates for management and clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, and internal stakeholders
- Respond promptly to emergencies, operational issues, and client escalations
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role within the real estate or property management industry
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in project management, budgeting, and contract negotiation
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and manage a team
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
