is looking for:

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (CAKES AND PASTRY)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead cake and pastry product development, including new recipes and product innovations.
• Standardize recipes, portioning, costing, and plating guides for all products.
• Ensure consistency in taste, appearance, and quality across all locations.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, and Store Operations for supply needs.
• Prepare and review product prototypes in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate and updated documentation of recipes, SOPs, and R&D trials.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures for product preparation and handling.
• Ensure proper record-keeping for compliance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Operations and Marketing teams to ensure product rollout readiness.
• Work with Procurement, Logistics, and Store Operations to align supply requirements and product specifications.
• Evaluate product shelf-life and recommend appropriate storage and handling procedures.

• Graduate of BS Food Science, Culinary Arts, or related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of R&D experience in food product development and formulation.
• Strong knowledge of cake and pastry production techniques.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• High attention to detail for consistency and product quality.
• Observant and compliant with standard procedures and food safety regulations.
• Able to follow strict sanitation and production standards.
