HR Payroll Associate – Job Description

Job Summary:
The HR Payroll Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies. The role also supports compensation and benefits administration.
  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process end-to-end payroll (weekly/semi-monthly)
  • Compute salaries, overtime, deductions, and adjustments
  • Ensure accuracy of timekeeping records (DTR, attendance)
  • Handle government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
  • Prepare and process mandatory reports and remittances
  • Maintain payroll records and employee data confidentiality
  • Assist in benefits administration (leave, loans, etc.)
  • Coordinate with Finance for payroll funding and disbursement
  • Address employee concerns related to payroll and compensation
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
  • With experience in payroll processing (preferred 1–3 years)
  • Knowledgeable in labor laws and government contributions
  • Proficient in MS Excel (formulas, payroll computation)
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
