About the role
Watermatic Philippines Corporation, a leading provider of water treatment solutions, is seeking a driven and highly skilled Chemical Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this fulltime role based in Mandaue City Cebu, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in chemical engineering to drive sales, provide technical support, and contribute to the growth of our innovative product portfolio.
What you'll be doing- Engage with potential clients to understand their water treatment needs and propose tailored solutions
- Prepare technical proposals, conduct product demonstrations, and negotiate contract terms to secure new business
- Provide on-site support and troubleshooting to ensure the successful implementation and operation of our water treatment systems
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes to enhance our product offerings
- Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new chemical formulations and process improvements
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Contribute to the overall sales strategy and help drive the company's growth in the Chemical Engineering market
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in chemical sales or technical sales within the water treatment industry
- Demonstrated expertise in water treatment processes, chemical application, and regulatory compliance
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to translate complex engineering concepts into practical solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to deliver results
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
