Accounting Supervisor

We are looking for an Accounting Supervisor (to be assigned in Casa Bocobo Hotel) to assist the Accounting Head to oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective management of the accounting team.Likewise, supports the organization’s financial health and operational efficiency.

• Supervise and lead the accounting team, including training, mentoring, and assisting the Accounting Head for performance evaluations.
• Assign tasks and projects to accounting staff and ensure timely completion.
• Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes and reports.
• Review and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to the Accounting Head.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Monitor cash flow.
• Coordinate and support external audits and tax filings.
• Assist in the development of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
• Assist in monitoring budget vs. actual performance and report variances.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Willing to be assigned in Casa Bocobo Hotel - Ermita, Manila
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Hotel system) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
