The Safety Officer 2 is responsible for implementing and monitoring health and safety policies in the workplace. Ensures compliance with government regulations, conducts safety inspections, investigates incidents, and promotes a safe working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities: Implement and monitor Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) programs.
Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits.Ensure compliance with DOLE and other government safety regulations.
Conduct safety orientation and toolbox meetings.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and prepare reports.
Monitor use of PPE and enforce safety procedures.
Coordinate emergency drills and safety trainings.
Prepare and maintain safety documentation and reports.
Recommend corrective and preventive actions for identified hazards.
Coordinate with different departments regarding safety concerns.
Qualifications: Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree or related course.
Certified Safety Officer 2 (BOSH/COSH certified).With at least 1–2 years of experience in occupational safety and health.
Knowledgeable in DOLE OSH standards and regulations.
Strong communication and report-writing skills.
Willing to work onsite and conduct field inspections.
Preferred Experience: Experience in logistics, warehouse, construction, or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
Knowledge in emergency response and incident management.
