Key Accountabilities:
The Social Media Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Arcadis’ organic social media strategy. This role requires experience in managing a global brand, has expertise in social media trends, and can create cohesive, impactful strategies to drive engagement, brand awareness, and business growth across diverse audiences.
The Social Media Manager will be responsible in managing the global social media channels, campaigns, and the creation of strategies and guidelines for social media. This role will work closely with the social media team, brand ambassador team, content creators, and the global and regional teams.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy- Develop and implement a comprehensive global social media strategy that aligns with the company’s wider marketing objectives
- Works with the social media and wider digital team to implement a growth strategy to increase Arcadis’ digital footprint across all social media channels.
- Build Arcadis’ social footprint, promoting brand awareness and engagement, and leading of social selling / influencer marketing / content marketing program in social media channels.
- Set and monitor KPIs, reporting on growth, engagement, reach, and other key metrics.
- Manage the organic social media content calendar and provide detailed performance reports.
- Lead the strategy for content creators and internal influencers for global campaigns and events.
- Development, deployment and support of social media tool kits specific to both leadership and team members including brand ambassador program.
- Develop social media channel strategies, guidelines, and best practice documentation to ensure consistent performance across all channels.
- Lead the end-to-end social media campaign process from planning, implementation, and reporting.
- Monitor and manage the global social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, etc.)
- Stay ahead of social media trends, emerging platforms, and digital innovations to keep Arcadis at the forefront of social media marketing.
- Integration with other systems and platforms.
- Serve as the primary liaison with social media partners, including LinkedIn and Oktopost, to explore new tools and capabilities, identify issues in platforms, and how to maximize the use of platforms.
- Monitor and manage reputational risks across all global social media channels.
- Ensure adherence to social media activities to company-wide social media policies and conduct training sessions on best practices.
- Update and manage department social media policy documents to ensure compliance.
- Serve as the main point of contact for general administration and collaboration within the social media team.
- Communicate insights and best practices to the regional and global teams.
- Interface with global discipline lead and/or regional counterparts through community of practice.
- Support team members in developing skills and providing mentorship across all social media channels.
- In-charge of recruitment efforts, including conducting interviews and providing feedback.
- Qualifications, skills & experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, or any Business-related courses
- 15+ years of cumulative experience in digital marketing
- Deep understanding of global social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
- Advanced knowledge of social media management tools, such as Oktopost, and other advertising platforms (a plus).
- Strong experience with Google Analytics and Google Data Studio.
- Demonstrate successful team leadership and stakeholder management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills, with a focus on copywriting.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on optimization.
- Comfortable engaging with key stakeholders regularly.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Positive team attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective project management capabilities.
