Location: Ortigas, Pasig, PH
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Hybrid | 3x Onsite, 2x WFH)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
This role is responsible for maintaining payroll operations across ANZ, supporting HR administration of policies and procedures, and providing financial reporting and administrative support to the Finance function. The position ensures payroll accuracy, legislative compliance, and efficient HR record management while contributing to overall operational effectiveness.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Payroll Administration (Primary Function)- Process fortnightly payroll for ANZ (~110 employees), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies, awards, and Australian legislation.
- Review and validate payroll data including timesheets, allowances, deductions, superannuation, leave entitlements, salary adjustments, bonuses, and back pays.
- Prepare payroll reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate statutory compliance (PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, and reporting requirements).
- Process employee leave applications and maintain accurate leave balances.
- Manage payroll uploads, maintain secure payroll records, and respond to employee payroll queries.
- Liaise with payroll system providers or outsourced payroll services as required, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
- Support the HR Manager in implementing and maintaining HR policies and procedures.
- Prepare employment contracts, variation letters, onboarding documentation, and ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including job descriptions, performance documentation, certifications, and personnel files.
- Assist with probation reviews, performance cycles, employee lifecycle administration, and exit processes including final pay calculations.
- Ensure all HR documentation complies with relevant workplace legislation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (desirable)
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in payroll processing
- Experience using payroll applications and/or managing outsourced payroll services
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in Australian payroll legislation
- Exposure to New Zealand payroll (desirable)
- Experience in HR administration (well regarded)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) & Reporting (VLOOKUP etc.)
- Meticulous approach to work with a commitment to maintaining accuracy.
