ESH Officer
2. Assists in the investigation of reported unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, incidents, and near misses by identifying root causes and recommending corrective and preventive actions to eliminate environmental and accident hazards.
- Implements, monitors, and recommends continuous improvements to the Company’s ESH programs, policies, and initiatives. 4. Ensures that employees are aware of and understand applicable environmental aspects and impacts, as well as occupational hazards and risks within their respective work areas. 5. Analyzes ESH data, trends, and performance indicators to develop programs and action plans aimed at improving overall ESH performance.
- Supports the planning, execution, facilitation, and evaluation of emergency drills and other emergency preparedness and response activities. 7. Conducts regular ESH inspections, assessments, and internal audits in accordance with the approved ESH inspection and audit plan. 8. Act as a member of the ESH Committee and Emergency Response Team, as required.
ESH Promotions 1. Develops and produces ESH promotional and educational materials, including but not limited to posters, advisories, infographics, videos, and safety campaigns. 2. Supports AFLI-ESH led ESH programs and activities and collaborates with locators in the planning and implementation of ESH initiatives.
- Coordinates with MERC in the development and rollout of ESH promotional and information materials. Documentation 1. Prepares and disseminates internal and external ESH-related communications, advisories, and notices.
- Develops, reviews, and maintains ESH-controlled documents, procedures, manuals, and guidelines in accordance with IMS requirements. 3. Maintains assigned files, databases, and records necessary for the effective implementation of the ESH Management System and other initiatives. Monitoring
- Prepares and submits regulatory reports and compliance requirements to government agencies such as the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and other relevant authorities. 2. Prepares and maintains ESH performance records and statistics, including but not limited to health surveillance reports, solid waste monitoring data, incident and accident reports, and emergency response documentation. 3. Assists in multi-partite monitoring activities and regulatory inspections.
- Prepares and documents minutes of ESH Committee meetings and tracks agreed action items. 5. Monitors, follows up, and reports on locator ESH concerns, activities, and action item status in coordination with the Association of the FPIP Locators, Inc. (AFLI) and the AFLI-ESH Committee. Administrative & IMS Compliance
- Provides administrative and technical support to the ESH Committee, FPIP Technical Working Group (TWG), and related subcommittees in the implementation of ESH programs and activities. 2. Serves as the ESH Committee Secretary, including coordination of meetings, documentation, and records management as required.
