About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Office & Facilities Supervisor to take ownership of the day-to-day running of our BGC office.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised and professional workplace, while also keeping strong visibility over daily office activity. You will help ensure employees are present, punctual, professionally presented and following expected office standards throughout the day.

The role will cover office presentation, supplies, facilities coordination, attendance visibility, onboarding support and general day-to-day office supervision. We are looking for someone confident, proactive and reliable, who is comfortable speaking up when standards need improving and escalating issues to management where required.

Note: This is a fully on-site based role, please only apply if this is suitable. No options for hybrid or remote.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the office each morning, ensuring it is clean, professional and ready for the day
  • Maintain office presentation, supplies, refreshments, water, stationery and kitchen items
  • Coordinate cleaners, building management, maintenance requests and general office issues
  • Monitor daily office attendance, timekeeping, lunch rotations and general office standards
  • Ensure meeting rooms are prepared, organised and ready for use
  • Ensure employees are professionally presented and wearing the correct uniform where required
  • Act as the first point of contact for staff, visitors and basic client queries
  • Welcome new starters to the office and ensure their workspace is ready
  • Assist with basic IT coordination and escalate issues to the correct support contact where needed
  • Support onboarding by preparing desks, equipment, access cards and office setup
  • Escalate any concerns relating to attendance, office behaviour or workplace issues to management
  • Keep the office tidy throughout the day, including the pantry, desks and shared areas
  • Send a weekly office update to management every Friday
Requirements
  • Previous experience as an Office Supervisor, Admin Supervisor, Facilities Supervisor or similar
  • Strong experience managing day-to-day office operations, supplies, facilities and workplace presentation
  • Strong communication skills and confidence raising issues with management
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to take ownership of the role.
  • Confident coordinating with building management, cleaners, vendors and internal staff
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to manage daily follow-ups without being chased
  • High attention to detail and able to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets and basic office systems
Preferred
  • Experience in a BPO, outsourcing, shared services or professional office environment
  • Experience supporting an Australian, UK or international company
  • Experience with onboarding coordination, desk setup and office reporting
