ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsible for facilitating employee relations and addressing human resource concerns on behalf of the company. Handles issues involving employee–management relations, ensuring a fair and productive work environment. The role requires active coordination with all areas of Human Resources to effectively manage concerns, promote positive workplace dynamics, and support both employees and management in resolving conflicts and maintaining compliance with company policies.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Sociology, Organizational Development, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology
  • Experience in employee relations or HR management
  • Leadership experience and industry certifications (an advantage)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
  • Understands office management procedures and internal control systems
  • Has extensive knowledge of HR policies and methods for effective implementation
  • Well-versed in Philippine Labor Laws, employment policies, and government regulations
  • Experience in a unionized company is an advantage
  • Passionate about working with a diverse group of people and skilled in analyzing and resolving labor issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to act as a counselor, mediator, and connector between employees and management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, able to anticipate and address workplace concerns effectively
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing situations and making sound workplace observations
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service orientation
  • Responsible, results-oriented, and a team player
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure employees’ compliance with company rules, regulations, and the provisions of the Code of Discipline
  • Conduct case investigations, prepare documentation and recommendations for corrective or disciplinary actions, and facilitate administrative hearings
  • Prepare and issue disciplinary actions, employment contracts, and other labor-related notices and documents
  • Oversee the follow-through and proper documentation of employment contracts and employee notices
  • Educate employees and area staff on employee relations matters, including potential liabilities and appropriate courses of action for labor-related concerns
  • Monitor and address behavioral and attitudinal issues among employees, recommending and implementing appropriate interventions
  • Communicate and reinforce HR policies, particularly those related to employee relations and workplace conduct
  • Participate in seminars, workshops, and trainings to stay updated on developments in employment and labor laws
