Enterprise Architect I (Google Cloud Architect)

We are looking for a highly experienced and certified Google Cloud Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable cloud solutions for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, a strong understanding of enterprise IT landscapes, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to drive cloud strategy and transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Cloud Architecture & Strategy
- Define cloud architecture and roadmap aligned to business goals
- Lead assessment, migration, and modernization strategies to GCP
- Solution Design & Implementation
- Design end-to-end cloud-native and hybrid solutions using Google Cloud Platform services
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-effective
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with senior IT leaders, enterprise architects, and business teams
- Translate business needs into robust cloud solutions and technical deliverables
- Governance & Best Practices
- Establish cloud governance, standards, and operational best practices
- Ensure compliance, security, and performance optimization across environments
- Team Leadership & Mentoring
- Guide development teams on architecture, DevOps, and infrastructure automation
- Mentor junior architects and engineers on cloud adoption and innovation
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of total IT experience, with 5+ years of hands-on GCP architecture experience
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification (active)
- Deep knowledge of GCP services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, VPC, Cloud Functions, IAM, GKE, etc.
- Strong experience in:
- Designing large-scale distributed systems
- Migration of legacy applications to GCP
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager, etc.)
- CI/CD and DevOps principles
- Solid understanding of security, networking, identity, and compliance in cloud environments
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud setups is a plus
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
