[ref. g48987421] Junior Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer (Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Create and execute tests based on completed development tickets using best practice QA methodologies for CLOUD-based applications/environments.
• Be able to understand business requirements and how they relate to the tickets that are being tested.
• Able to develop a good understanding of the product and the business goals, as well as be able to communicate effectively with the development team and other stakeholders.
• Able to identify the key requirements of a ticket and ensure that the testing is focused on those requirements.
• Provide feedback to the development team on any issues or concerns that arise during testing.

About you:

You should be an enthusiastic QA/QC engineer who takes quality assurance as a long-term career and not as a jump-board, to and from, other roles.

Ideal candidate would be someone with analytical mindset and great ability to build relationships with the internal and external stakeholders.

Must haves:

• The candidate should have a minimum of at least two (2) years of professional experience in a QA & QC role.
• Deep understanding of QA/QC methodologies and processes to ensure that development tasks completed are accurate, secure, reliable, and scalable.
• Use standard testing techniques to detect, correct, and report the bugs or defects in CLOUD-based application/s.
• Design processes that are planned to discover defects and subsequent fixes.
• Experience with API testing: The candidate should have experience with testing APIs using tools such as Postman.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel to analyze and manipulate large data sets

Good to have:

• Can understand Python and Typescript.
• Worked on projects with Django/react tech stack.
• Has worked with source control platforms (eg. Github/Gitlab)
• Relevant certifications
