- Monitor pipe forming operations.
- Know the job specification or the size, length, thickness of the pipe given by the customer.
- Check and record the coil data, coil thickness, strip width and coil specification.
- Check coil cleanliness and issue NCR of coils that does not conform to cleanliness standard prior to coil loading, if necessary.
- Check and record dimension of circumference, straightness and cutting length for all pipes produced.
- Check and record welding parameters (voltage, amperage and welding speed), operators (inside and outside) and the date of production.
- Conduct etching test that requires at the start of production. Conduct non destructive test like radiographic test and ultrasonic test prior and destructive test like tensile test and bend test prior to customer requirements.
- Visual inspection of pipe.
- Issuance of non-conformance reports on pipes manufactured not in accordance with the standard specification.
- Prepare and Submit QA Report FORM NO. 001-pipe forming and FORM NO. 001 A-percentage of weld repair per pipe forming machine per shift.
