Ice Plant Supervisor

About the role

As the Ice Plant Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's ice production plant. This is a full-time position based in Apalit Pampanga and you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and reliable supply of ice to support the company's core fish production and distribution activities.

• Manage the production schedule and workflow to ensure consistent ice output to meet the organization's needs
• Monitor and maintain the ice plant equipment to optimize performance and identify any maintenance requirements
• Supervise the ice plant staff, providing training, support and guidance to ensure high standards of quality and safety
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to drive efficiency and consistency
• Coordinate with other departments to align ice production with the wider business requirements
• Analyse production data and provide reports to management on key performance metrics
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to drive ongoing enhancements

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role within an industrial manufacturing or production environment, ideally in the food or logistics sectors
• Strong technical understanding of ice plant operations, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills to efficiently address operational challenges
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using data analysis tools to track, measure and report on production metrics
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and prioritiesIn charge in supervising the plant process, personnel and the operation.

• Coordinate with the General Manager in resolving plant issues in a timely manner.
• Review all production orders and processing schedules and make critical decisions about workflow strategies.
• Knowledgeable on safety, quality, productivity and inventory processes
• Strong aptitude on root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational problems.
