Technical Writing Specialist

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Edit technical documents, writings, and illustrations based on specifications and standard templates.
- Perform basic graphics editing.
- Edit minor article write-ups for sales and marketing collateral.
- Check and validate Emerson branding for consistency.
- Perform internal quality checks on technical documents.
- Coordinate and validate with stakeholders on reporting requirements.
- Provide status updates, raise issues encountered, and own work estimates.
Who You Are:
You are passionate about translating complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly content. You excel in collaborating and ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences. You manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining a high standard of work.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication Arts, English, or equivalent.
- At least 1.5 years of related experience in technical writing or creating marketing collateral (bulletins, instruction manuals, brochures, flyers, etc.).
- Basic software knowledge, including Microsoft Office, etc.
- Basic technical capability on Adobe products (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator, etc.).
- Willingness to work on a mid-shift schedule.
