- Leads the implementation and maintenance of a corporate strategy for the Company
- Working with the Fonterra Leadership Team to develop business strategies that continue to add sustainable value in terms of EBIT and growth
- Providing the frameworks and policies to ensure effective strategy planning processes across FBP in line with group and BU strategy
- Ensuring that FBP strategies and priorities are aligned to commercial imperatives across global Fonterra
- Direct the development of annual budgets including volumes and marketing expenditure for each brand/product group (including new products) in line with the long term OpCo and Category strategic plans
- Continually monitor and review performance (i.e., market share, brand health, Household penetration, revenue profit) and amend brand plans and activities as changes occur in the external or internal environment
- Proactively seek new opportunities for the OpCo and Categories as inputs into the long-term strategic plans
- Contribute to the development of the OpCo and category long-term strategic plans
- Direct the development and implementation of the annual brand and marketing plans consistent with long-term strategy and objectives of the OpCo and categories
- Lead, develop and motivate staff creating an internal environment that encourages and rewards superior performance
- Effectively recruit, select, and train staff within the marketing function, and identify at least one potential successor for key positions
- Provide thought leadership (through analytical rigor, and robust, integrative thinking) in the transformation of Fonterra Philippines business
- Ensure a high level of engagement is achieved and maintained with both External Customers and Internal stakeholders

- With a recognized tertiary and professional qualification in business management or related discipline
- At least a minimum of 15 years’ experience in a senior leadership role within a multicultural, multinational operations environment in large global food manufacturing/consumer goods organizations
- With sufficient hands-on experience and experience having undergone transformation and has experience in ‘change management’ as well as structuring organizations
- With experience in process management and compliance and has experiences in establishing/fixing/streamlining processes or have had ‘process improvement’/continuous improvement experience
- Must have an entrepreneurial mindset and can think how to grow the business, or help the business grow from an operational perspective
- Must have a proven experience in food and agribusiness supply chains and/or a start-up business where SC is complex, and majority of products are imported into the market
- Strong operations and solutions experience, from strategy to implementation
- Proven commercial knowledge and experience, leading growth and consolidating and strengthening market positions
- Has an ability to motivate and inspire others with a strong track record of strategic and commercial leadership and development
- With successful management at a senior executive level with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively up and down organizations and influence key stakeholders in a cross-cultural environment
- Has comprehensive understanding of Fonterra’s business and strategic objectives, deep knowledge of the global dairy industry, and competence in policy analysis
