Branch Manager

About the role

As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all branch activities, managing a team of professionals, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will be instrumental in achieving branch objectives whilst maintaining the highest standards of security and service delivery.

1. Lead, coach, and develop the branch team to drive performance and retention.
2. Oversee daily branch operations, including cash handling, logistics, and customer service.
3. Execute strategies to achieve sales, revenue, and operational goals.
4. Manage branch budgets, costs, and profitability.
5. Build strong client relationships and ensure excellent service.
6. Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and company standards.
7. Conduct risk assessments and implement asset protection measures.
8. Oversee recruitment, performance management, and employee discipline.
9. Prepare branch performance, incident, and operational reports.

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking or a related discipline
2. Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in branch management or operations management within banking, financial services or logistics sectors
3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets, managing budgets and improving operational efficiency
4. Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate, develop and manage diverse teams effectively
5. Excellent knowledge of banking operations, cash management, security protocols and compliance requirements
6. Demonstrated financial acumen with the ability to analyse financial statements and manage P&L responsibility
