Business Intelligence Engineer (IT)

Key Responsibilities and Roles:

• Support the gathering, analysis, and design of requirements; extract necessary report data from various sources; manage reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate business data and insights.
• Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights critical for strategic business decision-making.
• Administer and maintain BI tools and platforms, including managing user access, implementing security protocols, and optimizing performance.
• Create impactful visualizations that transform complex data into clear, actionable insights for business users.
• Interpret data analysis findings and present them to business stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to empower business users in effectively utilizing BI tools and reports for self-service analytics.

Required Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience developing BI solutions using Power BI.
• At least 3 years of experience in data warehousing and data modeling, including normalization and denormalization.
• Extensive experience performing ETL to extract data from various sources using SSIS, Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Proficiency in T-SQL scripting and strong technical knowledge of databases.
• Knowledgeable in other data analysis languages, such as DAX, KQL, or their equivalents.
