Field Technician

The Printer Technician is responsible for providing both on-site and in-house technical support for printers, copiers, and multifunctional office machines. The role includes installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, ensuring that all equipment is functioning efficiently and meets quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and test printers, copiers, and multifunction devices at client sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration based on service schedules.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware, connectivity, and printing issues on-site.
• Coordinate with clients regarding technical findings and provide service reports.
• Observe company safety and operational procedures during field assignments.

• Conduct inspection, repair, and testing of printers and copiers in the service center.
• Prepare and test units before delivery or deployment to clients.
• Maintain accurate repair records, service logs, and documentation.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking spare parts usage and stock levels.
• Support field technicians by preparing parts, tools, and materials.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and proper handling of equipment and work areas.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, service standards, and documentation procedures.
• Submit daily activity reports and coordinate with the Technical Supervisor for updates.
• Participate in training and development programs related to printer technology and servicing.
• Provide technical assistance to other team members when needed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any technical or vocational course in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Knowledgeable in printer mechanics, network setup, and troubleshooting.
• With strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willing to travel for on-site service and work in-house as needed.
• Possesses a valid driver’s license (an advantage).
• Can work independently and with minimal supervision.
