The Field Support Engineer will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to field engineers during on-site repairs at customer locations. This role requires a deep understanding of our products and systems, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in real-time.
The Senior Field Support Engineer will have the same level of access as our tech support engineers based in the UK and must be prepared to respond promptly and effectively to inquiries. This is a critical role that requires both technical expertise and excellent communication skills to ensure high-quality customer service and satisfaction.
- Function as the main deciding factor in moving the repair logistics of a customer
- Answer calls inbound from onshore engineers from repair companies working for LG
- Answer emails inbound and outbound from engineers needing assistance
- Fulfill Bi-Monthly business review with clients discussing repair schedule and completion
- Assist onsite repairs for LG appliances (MS) as needed or requested
- MS Product Technical Support with the brief to liaise with the factories and Dev teams to resolve / escalate in country product technical issues.
- Create and update technical bulletin support
- Support LG.COM / Chatbot MS technical response
Conduct training to agents focusing on technical specification for MS products
Respond to UK Onshore engineer queries, attend to technical queries of agents in Foundever if there are any and recommend possible training implementation to enhance technical knowledge of our agents
Minimum–2 years or more in field engineer worksPreferred - 3 years or more in field engineer works
Graduated college in same area of course (Engineering, ECE courses etc)
