Full-Time | Remote | Legal Administration & Case Support
Compensation: Up to $6/hour
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys and paralegals in a busy U.S.-based law firm. This role is responsible for keeping legal operations running smoothly through accurate docketing, calendar management, court filings, document preparation, billing support, and case administration.

What You'll Do
Docketing & Calendar Management- Docket hearings, court dates, filing deadlines, and critical case milestones accurately
- Manage attorney calendars, appointments, court appearances, depositions, and internal deadlines
- Monitor deadlines proactively and provide timely reminders
- Ensure all deadlines are tracked and met without exception
- Coordinate client meetings, depositions, hearings, and internal meetings
- Arrange attorney travel, accommodations, transportation, and itineraries
- Coordinate court reporters and deposition logistics
- Confirm schedules and communicate details to all parties involved
- Prepare, edit, proofread, and format legal documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence
- Ensure documents comply with court, agency, and firm formatting requirements
- Maintain version control and organized document management systems
- Assist attorneys with drafting standard correspondence and follow-up communications
- Prepare and submit court and agency filings accurately and on time
- Maintain filing confirmations and submission records
- Stay current with electronic filing procedures and requirements
- Ensure compliance with applicable filing rules and deadlines
- Maintain organized digital case files and matter records
- Update case management systems and track case activity
- Open new matters and assist with intake processes
- Prepare conflict checks and organize supporting documentation
- Handle confidential client information with professionalism and discretion
- Track attorney time entries and billing activities
- Assist with client invoicing and billing statement preparation
- Process expense reports and reimbursements
- Monitor billing records and flag discrepancies when necessary
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Perform data entry, scanning, filing, and document organization
- Support attorneys and legal staff with additional administrative tasks
- Assist with day-to-day law firm operations
Qualifications
Required- At least 2 years of experience in a Legal Administrative Assistant, Legal Secretary, Paralegal, or similar legal support role
- Strong knowledge of legal administrative procedures, docketing, court filings, and document management
- Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and legal software platforms
- Experience working with case management or document management systems
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Experience supporting attorneys in a U.S. law firm environment
- Experience with legal case management systems such as Clio or similar platforms
- Familiarity with e-filing procedures and court filing requirements
- Experience coordinating legal calendars, hearings, depositions, and attorney travel
- You understand that legal deadlines are non-negotiable
- You produce polished, accurate work with minimal supervision
- You stay organized even when managing multiple active matters
- You communicate proactively and follow through on responsibilities
