The BOM Engineer is responsible for creating, reviewing, and maintaining accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure all product data aligns with engineering specifications and system requirements. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to support new product introduction, manage engineering changes, and resolve BOM discrepancies that may impact production.Additionally, the BOM Engineer ensures data integrity within ERP/MRP systems, supports cost optimization initiatives, and helps prevent material shortages and production delays.
Qualifications/Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related engineering courses
- At least 1–3 years of experience in BOM management, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related field
o Exposure to cost analysis and material planning
o Experience in multi-level BOM structure management
