We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Executive with strong B2B sales experience in the architectural, construction, building materials, interior design, fit-out, or project-based industry.

This role is ideal for someone who knows how to build relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, developers, property owners, procurement teams, and other business clients. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, presenting products, following up project leads, and helping the company grow its market presence in the construction and architectural product industry.

Job Summary:

The Business Development Executive will lead B2B client acquisition and relationship-building efforts for architectural and construction-related products. The role focuses on identifying project opportunities, presenting solutions to professional clients, coordinating with internal teams, and converting leads into successful sales.

This position requires strong communication skills, industry knowledge, persistence in follow-ups, and the ability to close deals with clients from the construction, design, and real estate sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new B2B sales opportunities with architects, interior designers, contractors, developers, builders, construction firms, and project-based clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, project owners, procurement officers, and industry professionals.
  • Conduct product presentations, client meetings, showroom visits, site visits, and project consultations.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable products or solutions based on project needs.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, product recommendations, and follow-up communications.
  • Monitor project leads from inquiry to closing, including follow-ups, negotiations, and coordination.
  • Coordinate with sales, design, operations, production, and installation teams to ensure smooth client handling.
  • Maintain an updated pipeline of prospects, active projects, quotations, and client accounts.
  • Achieve sales targets, project conversion goals, and business development KPIs.
  • Represent the company professionally in client meetings, industry events, partnerships, and networking opportunities.
  • Gather market feedback, competitor insights, and client needs to support sales and marketing strategies.
  • Help strengthen the company’s presence in the architectural, construction, and design industry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Construction Management, or any related field.
  • At least 2 to 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience.
  • Experience in architectural products, construction materials, building supplies, fit-out, interior products, glass, aluminum, doors, cabinetry, furniture, tiles, bathroom products, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Existing network with architects, designers, contractors, developers, or construction professionals is an advantage.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident in handling client meetings, project discussions, and product presentations.
  • Able to manage sales pipelines, follow-ups, quotations, and client accounts.
  • Target-driven, proactive, persistent, and professional.
  • Willing to do fieldwork, client visits, site visits, and industry networking when needed.
  • Must be organized, accountable, and able to work in a fast-paced growing company.
