Supervise and monitor daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.Review and verify accounting entries, financial transactions, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare, analyze, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and company policies.
Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and financial statements.
Oversee tax compliance, government reportorial requirements, and statutory filings.
Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
Coordinate with external auditors, government agencies, and other stakeholders during audits and inspections.
Supervise, train, and evaluate accounting staff to ensure productivity and professional development.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
Support Management by providing financial insights, recommendations, and reports for business decision-making.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage.
At least 3–5 years of accounting experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
