Procuring goods and services necessary for the operation and maintenance of ships and other marine-related equipment. This includes sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, managing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of required items.
  • Identifying and selecting suppliers for various marine-related items, such as spare parts, engine components, safety equipment, and provisions.
  • Negotiating favorable prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to optimize costs and ensure value for the company.
  • Creating and managing purchase orders, tracking order status, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Monitoring inventory levels, anticipating needs, and coordinating with other departments to ensure sufficient stock of essential items.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, evaluating their performance, and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
  • Analyzing purchasing costs, identifying areas for potential savings, and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate records of purchases, invoices, and other relevant documents, and submitting reports to management
Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Marine Engineer, Marine Transportation, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering.
  • At least 1 year work of experience
  • With knowledge in Marine Products
