HR Officer/Supervisor

About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Officer/Supervisor to join our dynamic team at City Garden Suites. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the overall HR operations and initiatives of our hotel, ensuring we maintain a talented and engaged workforce.The role is based in our Malate Manila City Metro Manila location.
What you'll be doing- Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, screening and onboarding of new hires
- Manage employee records and documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations
- Administer employee benefits, leave management and other HR-related processes
- Provide guidance and support to managers on HR policies, procedures and best practices
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives
- Handle employee relations and resolve any workplace issues or grievances
- Assist with the organization of HR-related training and development programs
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR practices and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar HR Generalist or Supervisory role, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, HR policies and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
- Proficient in HR information systems and MS Office applications
- Proactive, detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
