Process Improvement Assistant

Educational QualificationExperience Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.

Must have at least 1 year related experience involved in process improvement or learning and development/organizational design.

1. Assist in designing and developing new manufacturing processes or modifying existing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
2. Conduct preliminary process analysis to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
3. Support the implementation and monitoring of process improvements, integrating electronic systems where applicable, to ensure they meet performance objectives.
4. Help develop and implement software solutions for process monitoring, control, and optimization.
5. Use data analysis and statistical methods to support process parameter optimization and improve production yields.
6. Assist in developing and implementing process control strategies using electronic systems to maintain consistent quality and performance.
7. Participate in process improvement projects, including the development and integration of electronic systems, from concept through implementation.
8. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, IT, and maintenance, to achieve project goals.
9. Prepare and maintain process and electronic system documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flow diagrams.
10. Conduct training for employees on new processes, technologies, and electronic systems.
11. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovative ideas and best practices in both process engineering and electronic systems development.
12. Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and Six Sigma projects, integrating electronic systems to enhance process efficiency.
13. Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and advancements to drive process and system innovation.
14. Collect and analyze data from process performance, quality, and electronic systems.
15. Prepare reports on process and system performance, improvements, and project outcomes for management review.
16. Use data-driven insights to make informed recommendations for process and system enhancements.

1. Assist in conducting comprehensive job analyses to identify key roles, responsibilities, and competency requirements within the organization.
2. Collaborate with department heads to assess organizational structures, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies for enhancing effectiveness and efficiency.
3. Participate in organizational development activities such as change management initiatives, culture assessments, and employee engagement surveys to support continuous improvement and growth.
4. Help ensure training materials and resources are aligned with learning objectives, organizational goals, and industry best practices.
5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives, gathering feedback from participants and stakeholders to inform future program improvements.
6. Analyze organizational metrics, such as employee turnover rates, productivity, and engagement levels, to identify areas for improvement and development.
7. Utilize job analysis techniques and competency modeling to identify key roles, responsibilities, and skill gaps within the organization.
8. Conduct detailed analyses of existing organizational structures, manufacturing processes, and employee competencies to identify areas for improvement.

1. Exemplify the organization’s food safety and quality policies, mission, vision, and core values by staying informed through bulletin boards and meetings, and help build a positive culture by participating in meetings, reporting incidents, submitting responses for challenges, nominating employees of the month, and engaging in improvement initiatives.
