Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise network infrastructure
• Manage connectivity between local offices, regional sites, and cloud environments
• Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and IP addressing plans

• Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless solutions, and other network devices
• Manage secure connectivity across cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
• Administer corporate Wi-Fi and network access solutions for employees and contractors
• Support core network services including DNS, DHCP, and NTP

• Implement network monitoring, alerting, and performance reporting tools
• Participate in incident response and on-call support activities
• Help ensure network availability, reliability, and performance standards are consistently met

• Enforce firewall rules, network segmentation, and security best practices
• Support compliance initiatives related to PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and internal security standards
• Work closely with security teams on vulnerability remediation and audit requirements

• Manage network changes through structured workflows and documentation processes
• Maintain configuration backups, operational procedures, and asset records
• Ensure network inventory and related documentation remain updated

• Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and service providers regarding network services and SLAs
• Partner with internal teams including IT Operations, Security, SRE, and regional counterparts
• Assist in evaluating network solutions, renewals, and infrastructure improvements

• Contribute to network modernization initiatives such as SD-WAN, ZTNA, and automation
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• At least 6 years of experience in network engineering, including leadership or senior-level responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts such as routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall management
• Hands-on experience with network security solutions such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, or similar technologies
• Experience supporting cloud networking environments in AWS and/or GCP
• Familiarity with enterprise wireless technologies and structured network environments
• Experience using network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Understanding of network security standards and best practices
• Background in scripting or automation tools such as Python, Bash, or Ansible is an advantage
• Experience working with ticketing or change management platforms such as Jira or ServiceNow
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
