About the role
We're looking for an Assistant Cook (Thai Cuisine) to join the team at Thai Dayo Soi' in San Fernando Pampanga. This is a full-time position where you'll work closely with our experienced Head Chef to help prepare and cook delicious Thai dishes for our customers.
What you'll be doing- Assisting the Head Chef or team leads in the preparation and cooking of a variety of Thai dishes
- Ensuring all dishes are prepared according to traditional Thai recipes and presentation standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Checking inventory levels and communicating supply needs to the Head Chef
- Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to any customer queries or requests
- At least 6 months to 1-year of experience working as an assistant cook or line cook in a Thai restaurant or professional kitchen
- Knowledge of Thai cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to food quality and presentation
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one
